History of Wallpaper and Wallpaper Murals

Although the word “wallpaper” and “tapestry” are sometimes mixed, the wallpaper is a paper to install on the walls and tapestry is a fabric panel (cloth). Did you know that wallpaper was invented in China? During the 18th century, wallpaper experienced a great boom in Europe through the printing press, more specifically in France, where it has become very fashionable.
Wallpaper and wallpaper murals (or wall murals) were very popular in the years 1970-1980 but has experienced a crisis until the mid-2000s when it became, again, a must in interior design.
